From the house of LU Murano, is the new alternative to glass chandeliers – carbon fiber chandeliers made from moulds of original LU blown glass chandeliers, just much lighter. The original glass versions are 10 times the weight of the TechnoLUgy versions and of course, the carbon fiber fixture is also far less fragile.
Created by Fabio Fornasier the new LU Murano product is a fine combination of craftsmanship, technology and modern delicate than their glass counterparts. The use of carbon fiber offer an endless choice of colour, texture and pattern capability, making the TechnoLUgy easily adaptable to any customized design while it’s high resistance makes it far more adaptable to different environments such as yachts and float homes.
In this new version, the organic shapes take on an almost animalmorphic form with outreaching arms and glowing tips. Its tone on tone patchwork diamond design offers a subtle texture and a reflective surface while it’s glowing tips create sparkles similar to the original glass design.
According to Fabio Fornasier the LU Murano will interpret a more present day fashion chandelier and will bring craftsmanship closer to design and art.
